Ithaca, NY (May 24, 2016) – Rosie, a leading online grocery shopping platform for mobile and web, recently expanded its services by teaming up with retailers in three new states to provide shoppers with a convenient way to purchase groceries online. Highland Park Market in Connecticut, West’s Plaza Country Mart in Kansas and Elmer’s Fresh Foods in Michigan will now offer grocery shopping on the web through Rosie’s eCommerce suite.
Shoppers who frequent Elmer’s Fresh Foods, a family-owned retailer in Escanaba, Michigan, will be able to purchase groceries online through its new eCommerce program “Elmer’s Express.” Shoppers can conveniently select items online and pick up their grocery orders at Elmer’s seven days a week.
“We’re excited to be the first in our area to offer online grocery shopping,” said Rod Stende, general manager, Elmer’s Fresh Foods. “Shoppers can now order groceries anywhere, anytime they like. The same fresh, quality foods will be available, but our customers won’t need to take time away from their families to shop. Thanks to Rosie’s top-of-the-line software, vast experience and advanced technical support, Elmer’s Express online grocery shopping will be a customer experience like no other.”
In addition, shoppers in Abilene, Kansas will now be able to purchase groceries more quickly and conveniently through “Country Mart Xpress,” West’s Plaza Country Mart’s new online shopping platform. West’s Plaza is part of 14 Country Mart stores in Kansas.
“I looked at many different online grocery shopping companies when deciding on the right provider,” said Chris West, store manager, West’s Plaza Country Mart. “I choice Rosie mainly for the service and support that they provide. Rosie made the long, complicated launch process very easy. They offer fast and professional support for our customers and are focused on making them satisfied and happy. That’s exactly what we look for when partnering with another company.”
Rosie is also expanding its online shopping services to Connecticut for the first time. A local landmark in Manchester, Connecticut for more than 100 years, Highland Park Market is not new to the eCommerce scene. However, this is the first time in over a decade that the retailer has chosen a different eCommerce provider. Highland Park Market’s online shoppers will continue to be able to purchase groceries for instore pick-up or delivery at Highland Park Market stores in Farmington, Glastonbury, Manchester, and Suffield.
“We realized our customers weren’t happy with our former online shopping platform and knew that we needed state-of-the-art, up-to-date technology to meet their needs,” said Tim Devaney, vice president of operations, Highland Park Market. “Quality customer service is at the heart of our business and our people come first. Between Rosie’s ease of use and variety of products to better communication and customer support, we’re able to offer our consumers a much better online shopping experience.”
Rosie currently powers more online shopping programs across the country than any other provider. By providing everything from integration with other retail partners to a dedicated customer support team, the e-commerce provider is helping retailers adapt to the shift in customer shopping habits.
“We’re excited for Elmer’s, West’s, and Highland Park Market to join the growing list of retailers who select Rosie as their online shopping partner,” said Nick Nickitas, CEO, Rosie. “As the market leader, Rosie enthusiastically provides the fastest and easiest online shopping solution for retailers and their guests with the highest level of service and support.”
